Iddrisu Baba to undergo further tests at Real Mallorca after picking up an injury on Black Stars duty

Ghanaian international Iddrisu Baba is expected to undergo further checks and assessment at Real Mallorca after returning to the club following his maiden appearance with the Black Stars.

The budding midfielder who has been in fine form since the start of the season was in action for his national team in the just ended international break where he featured for South Africa as well as Sao Tome and Principe.

In the last of the two qualifiers to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament matches, Baba picked up a thigh injury that resulted in his substitution.

After flying back to Real Mallorca, the 23-year-old is set to undergo some checks to determine the severity of his injury ahead of the side’s weekend fixture against Levante in the Spanish La Liga.
