Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer has urged all and sundry to ignore rumours circulating in the media suggesting that he has been disqualified from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential race.
The owner of Tema Youth Football Club is one of seven aspirants hoping to see their candidacy legitimized to ensure they get the opportunity to contest for the vacant seat at the football governing body.
Following grilling by a vetting committee last weekend, there have been speculations suggesting that Palmer had issues and has hence been disqualified from the race.
Reacting to the news via his Twitter handle, Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer has quashed the reports whiles stressing that it should be ignored.
The post read, “Setting the record straight! I have not been disqualified from the GFA presidential race. Please ignore all rumours”.
