The management of the Porcupine Warriors club on Friday morning announced that they have sacked head coach Maxwell Konadu.

In what came barely 24-hours after the team lost to Great Olympics in the Ghana Premier League on Thursday, Asante Kotoko now is on the hunt for a new head coach.

Speaking to Ashh FM in an interview, veteran tactician Malik Jabir says he is ready to take up the role if the management of the club wants him.

“If the management wants me I don't have problem I'm coming to serve Kotoko not anyone and if they want me  I'm ever ready for Asante Kotoko job,” the coach shared.

Meanwhile, the former Asante Kotoko gaffer has kicked against the appointment of a foreign coach.

“We should appoint local coach not foreign coach,” coach Malik Jabir added.
