Bibiani GoldStars head coach Michael Osei has expressed his excitement with the performance of his technical team after their win over Asante Kotoko.

The Miners beat the Porcupine Warriors 2-1 at the Dun’s Park on Saturday on match day two of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

Speaking after the game, Michael Osei said: “I congratulate the team, playing body, the supporters, the management and also my technical team. They have performed so well. I am so happy to have such a technical team.”

Prince Kwabena Owusu headed Michael Osei’s hosts into the lead from a cross into the middle of the box six minutes after the hour mark.

Eight minutes later, substitute Sherif Mohammed drew Asante Kotoko level with a finish from close range.

Bosomtwi won all three points for GoldStars with a stunning long-range strike that has goalkeeper Frederick Asare pegged to his position in the 74th minute.

The home side had two goals disallowed for an infringement on the goalkeeper and an offside.
