I’m open to rejoining Asante Kotoko if the club needs my services – Eric Ofori Antwi

Legon Cities FC goalkeeper, Eric Ofori Antwi has disclosed that he is willing to rejoin Asante Kotoko in case the club requires his services.

The shot-stopper faced his former club over the past weekend and excelled to help the Royals to cruise to a delightful 3-1 win at the end of the game.

Speaking to Subanpa FM in an interview, he disclosed that it was a tough contest against his former club.

“Beating Asante Kotoko at their own backyard came with great feelings but unfortunately I could not celebrate because it’s my former team. To be honest, it’s my job am doing, however, it was a tough game”, the Legon Cities FC goalkeeper said.

On whether he is open to rejoining Asante Kotoko, Eric Ofori Antwi said, “Oh why not, it’s my work so I won’t hesitate to join them[Asante Kotoko SC], I have played for them before but sometimes you will have stint elsewhere and it will either be good or bad. So why not I won’t rule out a return, everything is possible”.

“If they need me, they [Asante Kotoko SC] will have to meet my club and I will gladly rejoin them. It’s a very good side every player would want to be with”.

Popularly known as ‘alawa’, Eric Ofori Antwi is one of the most experienced players in the Ghana Premier League at the moment.

Before joining Legon Cities FC, he played for giants Medeama SC.
