The Pride of the North has been in dismal form this season and are now 17th on the Ghana Premier League with 14 points.

Out of 15 games, RTU have managed four wins, two draws and nine defeats.

RTU succumbed to a 1-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko in the week 16 of the domestic top-flight. The Ugandan striker, Steven Dese Mukwala, played a pivotal role by converting a second-half penalty in the 80th minute at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

Speaking after the game, Abdul Mumin attributed their struggle to immaturity on the p-art of the players and has promised to go in for more experienced players for the second half of the season.

Ask if there will be a squad reinforcement, he said, “Definitely, you realize we have a young team so the immaturity is part of what is affecting our play so we will go in for more experienced players”
