Tamale City striker Sampson Eduku has expressed readiness to play for the Black Stars.

The 27-year-old has been Tamale City’s main man this season, racking up some important goals as they seek to survive relegation at the end of the Ghana Premier League season.

Eduku has 14 goals in the ongoing Premier League and is joint-top on the goal king race with Hafiz Konkoni.

According to Eduku, he is ever ready to play for the Black Stars when given the opportunity.

“Everyone is aiming to play for his national team because you will be proud and it is good to represent your nation. I’m ever ready whenever they call me and I will be happy to join the Black Stars,” he told Ghanasportspage.com.

The forward has become a subject of interest for several clubs due to his swashbuckling performance this season.

The former Karela United player has been linked with clubs like Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.

The Ghanaian giants will look forward to snatch Eduku at the end of the season to boost their squad for the next campaign.
