Ghanaian international Baba Rahman scored a crucial goal for PAOK Salonika in their UEFA Champions League qualifying match against Swedish side Malmö FF, which ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw.

The Tuesday evening clash at the Eleda Stadion marked the first encounter between the two teams.

Malmö FF started strong, dominating possession and shots throughout the game. They took the lead in the 29th minute through a Pontus Jansson header, assisted by Sebastian Nanasi. However, PAOK equalized just before halftime when Taison scored in the 43rd minute, with an assist from Brandon Thomas.

The second half saw a determined PAOK side, and their efforts paid off in the 68th minute when Baba Rahman scored the equalizer with a left-footed shot from the center of the box, assisted by Konstantinos Koulierakis. The goal secured a vital draw for the Greek side ahead of the second leg.

PAOK will host Malmö FF for the second leg of the tie on August 13th, with the aggregate score level at 2-2.
