Ghanaian midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp continued his stellar preseason form with a goal in Crystal Palace FC’s 3-1 victory over West Ham United early Sunday morning at the Raymond James Stadium.
Tyrick Mitchell set the pace for the match, scoring just one minute after kickoff to give Crystal Palace an early lead. However, West Ham United quickly responded, with Michail Antonio leveling the score at 1-1 in the 21st minute as the teams headed into halftime.
The second half saw Schlupp regain the advantage for Crystal Palace, netting six minutes after the hour mark to make it 2-1. This goal marked Schlupp’s third consecutive preseason match with a goal, showcasing his impressive form. Jordan Ayew provided the assist on the play.
Just two minutes later, Odsonne Edouard extended Palace’s lead to 3-1, with Schlupp assisting on the goal.
Jordan Ayew, Schlupp’s Ghanaian compatriot, played the full 90 minutes for Crystal Palace, while West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus also completed the match.
