Injured Black Stars deputy captain Andre Ayew has backed his teammates to beat Uganda in their 2018 World Cup qualifier in Tamale on Friday.
Coach Avram Grant and his team have already noted they want to start the qualifying campaign well.
Andre Ayew who is hoping to play in a third World Cup after representing Ghana in South Africa 2010 and Brazil 2014 believes his colleagues will beat Uganda on Friday.
'I believe they will do it in my absence, there is no doubt that,'
'Playing Uganda has always been tough and i know it will be a difficult but the players are equal to the task.
'We all want to make another World Cup appearance and we can only do that by starting well with this game.'
