The midfielder joined the Italian lower-tier outfit in the summer transfer window after helping Benevento Calcio to secure promotion to play in the Serie A.

Although he is yet to command regular starting position in the A.C Reggiana team, Bright Gyamfi remains an important asset for the team and has in games showcased his quality for the good of the team.

Unfortunately, he sustained an injury while in action for the team in November against Lecce and has since been sidelined.

After missing the game against Cremonese last weekend, his team was hoping he will recover for the meeting with AC Monza on Sunday.

Reports picked up today indicate that he will have to under several tests on his left knee injury and unlikely to be fit in time to play any role in that match.
