Injured Felix Annan to miss Kotoko’s clash against FC Nouadhibou in CAF Champions League

Asante Kotoko captain Felix Annan is set to miss the team’s first meeting with FC Nouadhibou in the CAF Champions League after picking up an injury.

The Black Stars asset was in action for the Porcupine Warriors club over the past weekend when the team played against Berekum Chelsea.

In a Ghana Premier League fixture that ended 1-1, Felix Annan had to be substituted in the second half after picking up an injury.

Unfortunately for the club and Felix Annan, a scan today has confirmed that he has suffered a muscle tear in his right thigh.

In line with that, the highly-rated goalkeeper has been ruled out for weeks and will not feature in at least the next 3 matches of the Kumasi-based club.

While he undergoes rehabilitation, Felix Annan will miss Asante Kotoko’s encounter against FC Nouadhibou in the CAF Champions League as well.
