Ghana international Patrick Twumasi is a doubt for Hannover’s match against FC St. Pauli this weekend but is hoping to make the needed progress to ensure he plays a role to help the team bag all three points.

The exciting forward a week ago sustained a knee injury that saw him sit out of training for days.

Although he has subsequently been on the grass, he has not looked in the best shape.

According to Hannover 96 manager Kenan Kocak, he has Patrick Twumasi in his plans for the FC St. Pauli match and hopes he regains full fitness in the next few days.

“Patrick ran. But he only ran linearly. We'll have to wait and see how things develop for him over the course of the week,” the Hannover 96 coach said in a pre-match interview.

This season, Patrick Twumasi has featured in 11 matches for Hannover 96 in the German Bundesliga 2. He has scored two goals and has one assist to his name as well.
