Injury blow to Ajax as Ghanain whizkid Brian Brobbey suffers injury

Ghana and Ajax whizkid Brian Brobbey is set to face a spell on the sidelines after suffering knee injury during training with the club's first team on Friday. 

Brobbey will undergo a scan on Monday to know the extent of the injury.

The 17-year-old made 38 appearances and scored 34 goals, registering six assists last season.

The highly-rated forward is a younger brother of fellow football players Derrick Luckassen, Kevin Luckassen, and Samuel Brobbey.

He is eligible to play for Ghana despite featuring for the Holland U-17, U-19 and U-21 sides.

He won the 2018 UEFA European U-17 Championship and 2019 UEFA European U-17 Championship consecutively with the Netherlands.
