On Kessben FM's Midfield Action, Ali Maradona stressed the necessity of a unified effort to solve the issues facing the club. The Porcupine Warriors have had an inconsistent season, the team is currently fifth on the league table with one game in hand.

Several Asante Kotoko supporters have recently used social media to attack officials of the Ghana Football Association, the media, and referees, alleging that they are unfair.

“Sometimes if you say something, some people will be on social media insulting and attacking you. Kotoko supporters we don’t know social media oh. The shoeshine guys, the people at the market are the ones who come and pay and watch Kotoko games, not Tiktok and the Facebook people," he said

"If you insult me on social media, I’m even happy. I don’t really care about those insults but that won’t add anything to Kotoko. It won’t help Kotoko,"
