INTER MILAN, Miranda: "I could decide to join Brazil back in a couple days"

Published on: 27 June 2018

Interviewed by Canal Pilhado, Brazilian international centre-back Joao Miranda (33), asked about rumours linking him to a move back to his home country, stated: "Yes, I had some talks with Palmeiras. It's an important club, with noteworthy budget and facilities, and there's no wonder they can look for players keeping a high profile in European football. Anyway, I explained I'm still on a deal with Inter, and then there weren't any more talks. Besides, there's a huge bond between São Paulo and me, and that would be another chance to join back my home country. If the right proposal comes in, it would take a couple days for me to say yes, but I really don't think that's the case now". Former Atletico Madrid player joined Italian club back in summer 2015, and is currently on a deal with them until June 2019.
