Teenager Abdul Fatawu Issahku scored a stunning free-kick goal on Friday afternoon when the Black Stars B team of Ghana lost 2-1 to Uzbekistan.
The national teams of the two countries today locked horns at the Markaziy Stadium in an international friendly match expected to help both sides prepare for upcoming assignments.
In the second half after a poor showing from the Black Stars B in the first half, the team stepped up in a bid to get back into the game.
Presented with a free kick in the 72nd minute, teenage sensation Abdul Fatawu Issahaku stepped up and fired a thunderbolt strike that went straight into the back of the Uzbekistan net.
Although that goal canceled out a first-half strike from Otabek Shukurov, an equalizer from Jaloliddin Masharipov, later on, ensured that Uzbekistan cruised to a 2-1 win at the end of the friendly encounter.
