Sami Mokbel, a journalist who works with the Daily Mail, has confirmed that Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Atletico Madrid midfielder, Thomas Partey.
The 27-year-old has been linked with the Gunners for sometime now and it was reported by various sources that the London-based club were making headway with the player.
Previously, Arsenal offered cash plus player to Atletico Madrid for Partey but the Spanish side refused. The Gunners, however, have agreed personal terms with the player which means Partey will earn around 200k euros per week.
It has also been reported that Arsenal intend on triggering the player's 50 million euro release clause at the end of August or at the beginning of September at the very least.
Partey made over 40 appearances for Madrid in all competitions last season.
