Isaac Twum insists Black Meteors are poised for Gabon test

Captain of Ghana U 23 team, the Black Meteors Isaac Twum has revealed that the team lead by Coach Ibrahim Tanko is determined to qualify for the African U23 Cup of Nations.

The Meteors will on Saturday March 23, host their African counterpart Gabon in Accra for their  last qualifying game.Ahead of the clash, WAFU Cup winner Isaac Twum has stated that, the team is ready to win Gabon having won Togo 5-2 on aggregate despite losing 1-0 in Lome prior to this stage.

''Black Meteors qualifying to the Olympics is what every Ghanaian is expecting''And we are ready to book the qualification ticket for them''.

''Qualifying is what we have for them since thats what the people are talking about'', Twum said.

Ghana will return to Gabon for the second leg on March 26, hoping to secure a win and make it to the tournament for the first time since it incession.

The winner of Ghana-Gabon tie will book a ticket for the final phase of qualifying in June.There will be a big reward for playing at the Afcon as the top three teams at the November 8-22 championship in Egypt will represent Africa at the 2020 summer Olympics Games in Tokyo, Japan.
