Isco's goal at Atletico Madrid proved crucial as Real reached the Champions League final this week.
And a fan posted in the midfielder's Twitter timeline a comment from Helguera slating him earlier this season.
Helguera had declared: "Isco does not make passes, does not score goals and does not win tackles. He does not convince me."
Isco's response was to 'like' the post and include it in his personal Twitter timeline.
