Issah Abass hopes to be able to take action for FC Twente soon. The FSV Mainz player is still waiting for a work permit, but things are progressing.
According to club watcher Leon ten Voorde of TC Tubantia, the Ghanaian attacker will go to the embassy in The Hague today for the necessary papers. Abass can then probably make his debut for FC Twente.
The first minutes for the 22-year-old attacker take a while. "So I won't be in the match selection yet this week," says Ten Voorde. "Never trained with a group yet."
Issah Abass joined FC Twente on loan this month and his loan deal with FC Twente expires at the end of the season.
