It is unfair – Charles Taylor slams Kotoko management over unhealthy treatment to Felix Annan

Former Asante Kotoko player, Charles Taylor has taken a swipe at the management of the porcupine warriors over the unhealthy treatment meted out to captain, Felix Annan.

The Africa Club of the Century recently announced the signing of Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Abalora to the club which many believe will see Felix Annan drop down the pecking order after losing his number one position to Kwame Baah last season.

Felix Annan will now have to compete for the number two spot with the arrival of Razak Abalora who is also ready to fight for a place in the team.

Felix Annan, lost his position at the club as the first-choice goalkeeper to Kwame Baah and failed to reclaim the spot until the league was truncated due to the coronavirus.

Taylor sharing his thought about the recent happenings in the club said management has not been fair to the club’s captain.

“Kotoko management have not been fair to Felix Annan, he is a good talented and matured goalkeeper and I don’t know the mistake he did for him to lose his number one position and bringing in new goalkeeper too”

Despite admitting Annan was wrong to marry during the season, he insisted he has not been treated well.

“If I were to be Felix Annan I would have waited to complete the season before I will go and marry. Because it’s not easy to claim your position back if someone grabs your number one spot” he told Hot FM.

“I’m always feel whenever Felix Annan is in the goal post for Kotoko, to be frank he is an excellent goalkeeper for club and country” he added.
