Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew has revealed that he only suffered a knock against Sao Tome and Principe and is expected to be fully fit soon.

The former Marseille man played for the senior national team against Sao Tome and Principe where he helped his teammates to a 3-1 victory.

But, before the game ended, he clashed with an opponent and had to be helped off by a member of the medical team.

After the game, he noted that his injury is not serious, which is a boost to Swansea City fans.

"It's a knock," confirmed the Ghana captain.

"The doctors have seen. I can put my leg on the floor. There won't be any issue."

"I want to congratulate the whole squad for qualifying," he stated.

"In our country, because we are used to qualifying, we see it as a formality. We have to very proud and happy with what we and the coaching staff have done."
