Italian Serie A side Bologna targets January swoop for in-form Ghana forward Bernard Tekpetey

Ghana international, Bernard Tekpetey has become a transfer target of an Italian Serie A club following his top form in Europe since the start of the 2022/23 football season.

Information gathered from sources indicates that Serie A side Bologna are keeping tabs on the former Black Meteors forward and will move to sign him from Ludogorets in the January transfer window.

The Italian club has displayed quality since the start of the season but still lacks the cutting edge in the attack.

As a result, the team is just one place above the relegation zone of the Italian Serie A standings.

Keen on improving its squad to ensure the team avoids relegation, Bologna officials have identified Bernard Tekpetey as a forward to improve the squad of the team.

The club has hence opted to officially bid for the signing of the Ludogorets forward in the coming months.

This season, the Ghana forward has played 22 matches in all competitions. He has scored six goals and provided four assists for Ludogorets.

Last summer, the talented forward was also a transfer target of Olympiakos in Greece and Turkish Superliga outfit Trabzonspor.
