With Paris Saint-Germain preparing to face Barcelona this Wednesday evening in the Champions League, the French club's midfielder Marco Verratti has urged that his side must be wary of playing at the intimidating Camp Nou.

In his exclusive columnforGoal.com, the 24-year-old Italian expressed that PSG's 4-0 aggregatelead is still not enough to ensure they will secure a quarter-finals berth. He claimed that being overconfident going into this second leg in Spain can throw them off theirgame.

"It will require a big performance at Camp Nou. We will have tobe careful not to become overconfident," Verratti told Goal.

"We must ensure that we don't think our side is better than Barcelona's, it could be the worst thing to do."

Verratti also touched on how their dominant first leg display in Paris surprisedhim. However, PSG will have everything on the line in this match as Barcelona are a capable squad to produce new records on any stages.

"In modern football, everything happens very quickly.

"Barcahave made previous history in football. They also have the best players in the world."

The Italian international also mentioned that he intends to stay with Ligue 1 club for as long as possible, despite gaining interest from giants like Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Barcelona.

Verratti claims that he made a wise choice signing with PSG in 2012 and hopes that his patience will soon pay off with the French club hopefully winning their first Champions League title in the near future.
