"It's a shame I couldn't make it to Black Stars" - Godfred Saka

Great Olympics right-back Godfred Saka has expressed his disappointment after failing to make it into the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars.

The 33-year-old featured for the country at different levels including playing for the Black Stars B at the Champions of African Nations (CHAN) in 2014.

However, he never make it into the Black Stars during that period and has expressed his unhappiness despite being regarded as the best right-back in the Ghana Premier League following his impressive displays at Aduana Stars.

"It's a shame I couldn't make it to the Senior National Team (the Black Stars). It makes me feel bad always," Saka told Sikka Sports.

The experienced defender led Aduana Stars to win the league title before moving to Nigeria to join giants Enyimba International FC.

Following his brief spell with the Nigerian side, he returned to Ghana to play for Great Olympics where it has been reported that he's been released by the club.
