Mohammed Kudus’s agent, Jennifer Mendelewitsch has backed her client to make a move in the summer transfer window.

Kudus has become a subject of interest for several clubs in Europe due to his swashbuckling performance this season.

The agent who has disclosed her client has rejected a new contract offer from Ajax believes it is the right time for the Ghana star to move.

“What I can say is that after the World Cup and this season, there is a lot of interest in Kudus. I think it is best for both Ajax and Mohammed that he makes a transfer now. Now is the right time. He has ignored a proposal to extend his contract until the summer of 2026." She said.

The Black Stars midfielder has been Ajax main man this season, scoring 18 goals and providing 7 assists across competitions.

Kudus current contract with Ajax is expected to expire in the summer of 2025.

Ajax are said to have slapped a price tag of £40m on the former FC Nordjaelland star.

The 22-year-old joined Ajax in 2020 from FC Nordjaelland on 9 million Euros deal and has since established himself as a key cog to the club.
