Veteran Ghanaian football coach J.E Sarpong is in line to be appointed national U-20 trainer in the coming days, reports gathered by Footballghana.com has revealed

It has emerged that, coach of the Satellite Jimmy Cobblah is set to be shown the exit door after an abysmal performance in both the WAFU Zone B and African Youth Championship tournament in Togo and Niger respectively.

The former Asante Kotoko and Ebusua Dwarfs gaffer name has popped up as a replacement for Jimmy Cobblah at the national U-20 level. Among the names likely for the coaching job includes; Coach Karim Zito of Dreams FC and Enos Kwame Adipah of Techiman Eleven Wonders.

However, Sarpong stands tall for the job amidst his international coaching experience. He worked with Njalla Quan Sports Academy in Cameroon alongside former Indomitable Lionesses coach, Enow Ngachu and recorded huge successes in his time in Cameroon.
