Jamie Redknapp Predicts Comprehensive Win for Liverpool Over Watford

Former Liverpool player Jamie Redknapp has predicted onSky Sportsthat the Reds will run out 3-0 winners when they take on Watford on Sunday.

The Reds sit second in the Premier League - behind Man City only on goal difference and have not tasted defeat in eight matches.

However, Watford are also in good form having picked up eight points from their last four games - a run that has seen them jump above Manchester United in the table.

Liverpool will be all too aware of what Watford are capable of having lost 3-0 to the Hornets at Vicarage Road under Jurgen Klopp last year - but Redknapp feels that Liverpool can reverse that result in their contest at Anfield.

Redknapp said:Watford have had a good run and are up to seventh in the table, which is brilliant for them. But once Liverpool start moving it around at Anfield on Sunday, I think Watford will realise it's going to be a difficult afternoon. I'm going for a 3-0 win for Liverpool."

Liverpool have already recorded wins at Arsenal, Chelsea and taken a point away from White Hart Lane - but their title push will be influenced by whether they can take points off of the so-called lesser sides in the league.

Last term Liverpool dropped points at home to the likes of West Brom, Sunderland and Crystal Palace, which was a constant hindrance as they looked to push their way up the table.

But given their form so far this season, Redknapp sees Sunday's fixture as a routine win for Klopp's men.
