Jeremie Frimpong favourite for Scottish League Young Player award

Dutch-born defender Jeremie Frimpong will be crowned the best young player in the Scottish Premier League at the end of the 2019/2020 season according to reports.

The teenager has been excellent for defending champions Celtic and has been a constant figure in the team since making his debut for the club against Partick Thistle on October, 2019.

The right-back has made 22 appearances in all competitions so far this season and has scored two goals and provided four assists, the best statistic among the players in his award category.

He was signed from Manchester City on a four-year deal during the 2019 summer transfer window.
