Jeremie Frimpong opens up on his religious life; relationship with God

Dutch teenager of Ghanaian descent, Jeremie Frimpong has opened up on his religious life as he indicates that he will go to church after the Coronavirus pandemic.

The 19-year-old is currently one of the top talents in the world after playing a full season with his Celtics side in the Scottish Premiership.

He joined the club from English Premier League club Manchester City in the summer transfer window of 2019. Since then, he has never looked back and has started off the 2020/2021 season with a bang.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Jeremie Frimpong has opened up on his relationship with God.

According to him, he is a strong believer and knows the almighty God keeps him going.

“I am a really religious man,’ he says. ‘If you want to go to get something, God will always be with you. I have that faith. I believe in that and it keeps me going.

“I have found a church in Glasgow and will go there post-Covid”, Jeremie Frimpong shared.

Featuring for Celtics in the opening match of the Scottish Premiership over the past weekend, he scored to help the team defeat Hamilton 5-1.
