John Boye begins training at Metz after shaking off his injury

Ghanaian international John Boye has started minor training after shaking off an injury he suffered earlier in the season.

The Black Stars defender has been out of action since the last international break after he sustained a hamstring injury. That setback has seen him miss at least 3 matches for FC Metz who are now struggling in the French Ligue 1.

Ahead of the team’s match against Brest in the round 16 of the French League Cup later tonight, he has been ruled out again despite training on Monday evening.

Boye was joined by Thomas Delaine who is also recovering from an adductor injury yesterday as they jogged around the training grounds on their return to full fitness.

The Ghanaian center back will watch from the stands today but will be hoping to at least enjoy some minutes next weekend when Metz hosts Montpellier.
