John Paintsil lauds his former side Fulham after Premier League qualification

Former Fulham FC defender, John Paintsil has lauded his former club following their Premier League qualification ahead of the 2020/2021 campaign.

Fulham stunned Brentford FC 2:1 at the Wembley Stadium in the final playoff of the Skybt Championship.

The Cottagers are back in the English top-flight after just one season in the Championship.

The Whites suffered relegation from the Premiership at end of the 2018/2019 season.

The 39-year-old made 75 appearances for Fulham during his stint with the club from 2008 to 2011.

Paintsil played a significant role for the club when they finished as runners-up in UEFA Europa League in 2009/2010 losing in the final to Atletico Madrid.
