Ghanaian International, Jonah Osabutey has been named as the player of the season for Belgium top-flight side Royal Excel Mouscron.
The former Tema Youth player joined Royal Excel Mouscron in Belgium on loan from German side Werder Bremen at the beginning of the 2019/2020 season.
The attacker's fine form in the campaign for his club in Belgium has been awarded after being voted as their Player of the Season. He featured 22 times for Royal Excel Mouscron and managed to score 5 goals while providing 3 assists.
Royal Excel Mouscron finished 10th on the league log of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League with 36 points before it was ended with a game to spare because of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.
Before joining Mouscron on loan, he scored 12 times in 27 appearances for Werder Bremen II side.
