The 27-year-old, who returned to the squad after over a year absence grabbed a brace as the Blacks Stars boosted their chances of qualifying for the continent’s biggest showdown in Cameroon.

However, Jordan has struggled to replicate his goal-poaching at the Selhurst Park this campaign.

He is yet to find the back of the net for Crystal Palace since his summer move from Swansea City.

''I thank the fans for their support and I will keep on working hard and I want to take this to the club level as well so they should keep supporting me and the Black Stars team as well because we need their support because that’s something that’s really important,'' he told Ghana Sports Online.
