Leicester City striker Jordan Ayew is ranked the 4th highest African player in the suspended English Premier League season as he beats Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez and Arsenal’s Nicholas Pepe.

The Ghanaian international has been a delight to watch for the Foxes this campaign where he has been working his socks off for the team.

After making 28 appearances this season, Jordan Ayew has scored 8 goals and has provided one assist as well.

Ranking the African players and the goals they have scored in the English Premier League this season, the Black Stars asset comes in at 4th place.

Arsenal and Gabon goal poacher Pierre Emerick Aubameyang tops the chart with 17 goals, Liverpool duo Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane comes in 2nd and 3rd with 16 and 14 goals respectively.

While Ayew is behind these forwards, he beats the likes of Riyad Mahrez and Nicholas Pepe who are all highly-rated in their respective clubs and in their national teams as well.

Ayew, 28, remains Crystal Palace’s best player in the suspended season and is hopeful of adding a couple of goals should the campaign resume.
