After 19 minutes, Ayew gave Palace the lead when he leaped unopposed and glanced a header past Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers while the corner was being delivered.

With no defender in sight, Eze's shot in the 36th minute doubled the visitors' advantage. A corner was cut back to him on the outside of the penalty area, and he slammed the ball in.

Palace came the closest to scoring when Zaha moved into position in the area, but substitute Jean-Philippe Mateta's cutback was just off-target. Bournemouth spent the remainder of the game firing the ball at Kieffer Moore without much success.

Later, Mateta himself missed the mark, but Palace unquestionably finished well. Before the game ended, another substitute, Odsonne Edouard, pushed Travers into a save, and Adam Smith stopped Zaha's follow-up shot on the rebound.

Jordan Ayew, 31 has made 16 appearances, scored two goals, and assisted one this season.
