Spokesperson for the Ayew Family, Solar Ayew has argued that Jordan Ayew should be in line for the Black Stars captaincy if there is fairness in the national team.
According to the uncle of the Ayew brothers, this should have happened already if things were done right.
“The next in line for Black Stars captain should have been Jordan Ayew but the way we Ghanaians do our things that’s why Jordan is not the captain of the stars,” Solar Ayew said.
Meanwhile, the Spokesperson of the Ayew Family has lashed out at Emmanuel Osei Kuffuor for calling for the sideline of Andre Ayew from the Black Stars.
Speaking to Ezra FM, he said the Black Stars captain will consider retiring when the time is right.
‘Dede Ayew has achieved so much for Ghana and Ghanaians are aware. Who is General Osei Kuffour to talk about Dede Ayew someone who has achieved than you I thought it was Samuel Osei Kuffour (Bayern) who was saying that.
“He (Dede Ayew) will consider retirement at the appropriate time,” Solar Ayew said.
Both Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew have been part of the Black Stars for over a decade.
They have been key players of the national team and continue to serve when they are invited for assignments.
