The 25-year-old's progess at the Liberty is being questioned consistently in the French media.

Ayew moved to Swansea from Aston Villa this season, but has struggled to make an impression.

Salim Bangully in an interview with SFR Sport said it was a wrong move.

"Already succeeding in a winning Premier League team was a good thing for him. However, since his arrival in Swansea, it is generally a disappointment.

"He still has not scored since his arrival. This is clearly a disappointment. A big disappointment."

He also said of the ex-Marseille striker: "He had his chance as a striker when (Fernando) Llorente was not there. But he did not grasp it."
