Jordan Opoku eyes coaching role after football

Berekum Chelsea midfielder Jordan Opoku has spoken about his future plans after he retires from football with coaching his next target.

The 37-year-old has had an illustrious career playing for several clubs home and abroad including WAFA, Feyenoord Rotterdam, Excelsior, Royal Antwerp, Sakaeo FC and Asante Kotoko

Opoku, who currently plays for Berekum Chelsea admits he has a couple of years left to feature and will move into coaching after his playing career.

"I don’t think I’ll end my career at Berekum Chelsea. Possibly, I’ll move elsewhere before I retire," he told Ashaiman TV

"I want to move into coaching after my playing career. I think I have something in me which I can give to the next generation.

"Pep and Didi Dramani are the two coaches who inspire me. I want to reach Pep’s height in coaching. I admire Klopp too."
