Although Manchester United have spent vast sums on players to strengthen the first-team this summer - £90m for Pogba, £30 on Bailly, £24m for Mhykitaryan - it appears Jose Mourinho is equally eager to ensure the club recruit the brightest prospects from around the globe.
The latest to be linked is 16-year-old Brazilian wonderkid Matheus Marcosi.
Marcosi, who can play either in defence or midfield, has already spent time on trial at Carrington in an attempt to impress United's development coaches and is reportedly back for a second trial from Deportivo Brasil, according to theManchester Evening News.
However, Marcosi is not the only young player to entice Manchester United's recruitment department. The club are also tracking Swedish superstar Jesper Karlsson.
Karlsson, the 18-year-old Falkenberg winger/striker, has courted interest from a host of clubs across Europe after eight goals in 27 games this season after establishing himself as one of the continent's most exciting talents.

Karlsson has responded to interest, saying, it is of course fun. But I cannot do anything more than to just do my best and go out and perform.
Elsewhere, Marca claim that Jose Mourinho still retains strong interest in Real Madrid defender Rafael Varane.
Mourinho is known to be a strong admirer of the Frenchman after giving the defender his debut while Real Madrid manager.
