Ghana defender Joseph Aidoo played a cameo role on Sunday when his Celta Vigo outfit posted a 3-1 win over Granada in the Spanish La Liga.
The hard-tackling defender has been key for his team since the 2020/2021 football season started.
Unfortunately, he was dropped to the bench yesterday as a result of a muscular problem he battled with throughout last week.
Later in the dying minutes of the encounter when Celta Vigo was playing with 10 men against Granada, Joseph Aidoo was introduced to get his team over the finish line.
What ensued as a cameo role did not have an impact on the game that ended 3-1 in favour of the Sky Blue side.
On the Matchday, goals from Nolito, Miguel Baeza, and Fran Beltran handed Celta Vigo all the 3 points with Luis Javier Suárez netting the only consolation goal for Granada.
