Ghanaian international, Joseph Attamah Larweh has implored his Rizespor side to keep their focus as they prepare to face Besiktas in the Turkish Super Lig this weekend.

The Black Stars defender recently completed a season-long loan move to Rizespor and has already contributed immensely to the team’s good start to the ongoing campaign where they have won their first two games.

As they prepare to lock horns with Turkish giants Beşiktaş, Joseph Attamah Larweh has implored his side to put their previous matches behind them and turn attention to the upcoming crucial game.

Speaking in an interview after beating Sivasspor on match week 2, the former Tema Youth player shared, “What I have to say is we take it game by game and we have to put the first to games behind us”.

He continued, “Now we have to stay focus for the next game against Besiktas. We have to train very hard and we have to pay attention to what the coach teaches us at training and we take it from there.

“And I hope with the determination and the courage and the confidence I have in my guys in terms of the players we can do something against Beşiktaş”.

The Ghanaian versatile player is expected to be named on Rizespor’s starting lineup when they take on Beşiktaş on Saturday.
