Jurgen Klopp Gives His Say on Steven Gerrard Amid Reports the Liverpool Legend Is Departing MLS

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp hasresponded to speculation surrounding the future ofclub legend Steven Gerrard in the American MLS, by insisting that he will 'always be welcome at Liverpool', according to a report inThis Is Anfield.


Gerrard appeared to announce his departure from MLS club LA Galaxy on Saturday morning, in a post onsocial media siteInstagram, sparking the potential rumour of a fairy-tale return to Anfield, which will have whetted the appetite of Reds fans.

The star wrote:Living in Los Angeles and playing for the great Galaxy supporters has been a privilege,� he wrote.You have made this place feel like home to me. This city and this club will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you.�


And following the club's 2-1 win over West Brom on Saturday evening, which saw the Reds move up to second in the Premier League, charismatic manager Jurgen Klopp revealed that the iconic midfielder will always be welcomed to the club.


He is always so welcome at Liverpool FC. Absolutely no problem,� Klopp told reporters.


Nobody should be worried that there's no space for Steven Gerrard, everything will be fine, 100 percent.�


Since the midfielder departed, speculation has always been rife that Gerrard would one day return to the club, albeit in a non-playing capacity, and Klopp may be prepared to seal his triumphant return as one of his backroom staff.


Only time, it seems, will tell.
