Jurgen Klopp lauded his Liverpool players for coping with West Brom's attempts to deny them space in a 2-1 victory at Anfield, and warned other rivals that they would have to do the same or else commit a 'mistake'.

Liverpool drew level on points with Arsenal at the top of the table with the win, though City can go clear at the top against Southampton tomorrow.

"It's not hard playing this kind of football," Klopp told the pundits atBT Sport, "the movement, switching positions, playing side to side and playing as simple as possible makes sense. It's all part of the game."

"We are Liverpool - wherever we go, whoever we play, if you give us space it's a mistake. If you don't give us space we need to find solutions. They didn't give us space today and we had to find solutions and it's important that you don't get bored of simple passes."

"Each ball they play without pressure, the long ball up to Rondon; he is so strong and he tries to get a free kick. It was a big challenge for us to stay cool and concentrated. It's a good win."

Liverpool's position and points tally of nineteen from nine games is all the more ominous given the fact that they have already played Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United. If they can continue toreproduce this form against the lesser clubs in the league like West Brom, they could be looking at a first everPremier League title as the reward.
