JUST IN: Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac names FINAL squad for 2021 AFCON in Cameroon

Ghana head coach, Milovan Rajevac has named his final 28-man squad for the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament set to be staged in Cameroon.

The coach in the last two weeks has been in Doha, Qatar, with some players preparing for the upcoming tournament that will start on the upcoming weekend.

After spending time with a number of the Black Stars players and engaging some of the players yet to report to camp, Coach Milovan Rajevac has settled on his final squad.

The 28-man squad surprisingly includes unfit Ajax star Mohammed Kudus with Felix Afena-Gyan and Salis Abdul axed from the provisional squad.

“AS Roma youngster Felix Afena Gyan and Clermont Foot midfielder Salis Abdul Samed missed out on the final list for the tournament which kicks off on Sunday, January 9, 2022 in Cameroon,” an official statement on the GFA website said on Monday evening.
