Ghana international, Jeffrey Schlupp has signed a contract extension with Crystal Palace, footballghana.com can officially report.
The versatile player joined the English Premier League outfit in 2017 in a deal that saw him moving from Leicester City.
With a year left on his current contract, Crystal Palace has handed him a contract extension to tie him down for an additional year.
“Crystal Palace F.C. are delighted to confirm Jeffrey Schlupp, James McArthur, Martin Kelly, and Stephen Henderson have each signed contract extensions with the club”, an official statement from the Eagles club has said today.
Speaking in an interview after inking the new contract, the Ghana asset shared that he is delighted and looking forward to the next football season.
“Last season was a difficult one at times due to injuries. However, I’m delighted to have finished it off with a goal against Spurs, feeling 100% and extending my time with the club. I’m already looking forward to hitting the ground running in a few weeks’ time when the season restarts”, he said as quoted on the website of Crystal Palace.
