Dutch-born Ghanaian international Arvin Appiah has completed his move to Spanish lower division side UD Almeria from English Championship club Nottingham Forest.

The highly-rated teenager has been at the center of several transfer speculations over a possible move away from the Reds.

Following successful negotiations between the two clubs, Arvin Appiah has now signed a three-year contract with UD Almeria after passing a mandatory medical examination on Monday morning.

The 18-year-old midfielder had previously been linked with a move to English Premier League side Manchester United but has now opted to continue his development at the Spanish Segunda side where he is expected to enjoy regular playing time.

The player who was born in Amsterdam has already featured for England at the Youth level but could potentially represent Ghana at the senior level in the distant future.
