Footballghana.com can report that Ghanaian international, Patrick Twumasi has joined Turkish Super Lig side Gazişehir Gaziantep F.K. on a season-long loan from Spanish La Liga club Deportivo Alaves.
The forward arrived in Turkey on Thursday ahead of a possible move to the side for the upcoming season and has finally put pen to paper after passing a mandatory medical examination this afternoon.
The move is part of efforts by the player and his management to get him regular playing time after being denied the opportunity to enjoy the minutes he would have wanted last season by his parent club.
Gaziantep F.K. who are newcomers in the Turkish Lig has secured the services of the former Astana man in a bid to strengthen their squad for the challenging season ahead.
Patrick Twumasi, 25, only made 14 appearances for Alaves last season but is expected to play a key role for his new side after joining them on a season-long loan.
He will be playing alongside Ghanaian pair of Aziz Tetteh and Yusuf Raman Chibsah who are already contracted to Gazişehir Gaziantep F.K.
