The deal, which will see Zaza sign until 2021,was confirmed by Valencia's sporting director Jose Ramon Alesanco.

"No matter what, he is a part of Valencia," Alesanco told reporters on Wednesday."After this half a season, he'll have four more years [at Valencia] and we have to get the best performance out of him.We hope he scores lots of goals and makes us happy in every match. We can consider him a Valencia player already."

Zaza is clearly considered surplus to requirements by Juventus coach Max Allegri who has already allowed him to leave on an unsuccessful loan spell at West Ham earlier in the season.

The Italian forward failed to make an impact in the Premier League, but immediately marked his arrival at Valencia with an excellent goal just four minutes into his debut against Real Madrid.

The loan deal between Juventus and Valencia had a reported clause allowing apermanent transfer for €16m in the summer, which the latter have now activated.

Zaza failed to establish himself with the Serie A champions, appearing 24 times in all competitions and scoring eight goals.
